1 hour nirma skirt

Well its 1 hour for me, so I'm sure any of you would be able to do it much less than an hour.
I took less time because I didn't top stitch the waistband and most importantly I didn't do a double fold for the hem. I simply zig zag finished the hem. When the full tutorial is out you'll know what I mean
Since it has patterns it is mountain in the front, valleys behind and arrows on sides - prefer to buy fabrics without pattern for this pattern. :)

This week I'll be sewing or rather I'll try to sew 1 hour everyday for a week for KCW. Today is the second day. Last time around I published my first pattern - phus phus skirt. This time I'll try and finish the nirma skirt.
I did all the cutting, sewing everything in under an hour yesterday and managed to take her to park, take a few pics (she has been super busy picking daisies) and post them for you today. Hard work. :) But I love it - every bit of it - patterns, fabric shopping, sewing, dressing up my little one, photography. All.

Pattern coming this week :) Almost there. So stay tuned.

  1. Beautiful colours on the skirt. Very interesting blog too. Any recommendations for good places to buy fabric online.
